This remarkable film was single-handedly shot and edited by the talented @activatedvisuals.
Love knows no borders or boundaries, transcending differences in culture, language, and nationality. This was evident in the union of Ami, a Dinka-South Sudanese, and Ola, a Yoruba-Nigerian, who met each other in Australia. I was contacted for this project about 5 months prior to their traditional wedding, which celebrates the union of two families and marks the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the bride and groom.

This wedding is a beautiful celebration of the unique cultural traditions of both the Dinka and Yoruba communities, coming together to honor the union of Ami and Ola. It is a testament to the power of love to bring people from different backgrounds together and create a lasting bond
Last year, Leong missed out on celebrating her 21st birthday with her loved ones due to the grip of the Covid-19 pandemic. But today, she is surrounded by her friends and family, all gathered to honor her special day and make up for the celebration she missed out on.
